SCW The Fallout

-The "Raw Dog" Aaron Epic v. The Vintage Internet-TV Champion, Kory Chavis

The TV Internet Championship was on the line as the former champion Aaron Epic was to exercise his rights to a rematch clause that was in the title contract last month when he lost the title. He was to wrestle one half of the Dark City Fight Club and new champion Kory Chavis. Chavis rushed Epic to begin the match and applied several near pins. Both men wrestled a very even and competitive fight. Much of the middle of the match had Epic displaying his veteran know-how and taking the fight back from Chavis with some kicks and punches. Chavis mounted another attack and Epic seemed to utilize a foreign object in his fist and knocked Chavis out for the pin. Chavis had to be helped from ringside.

Chris Carson entered the ring to the crowds dismay and pronounced that Southern Championship Wrestling was still alive and going strong after eleven years in the business. He made comments to the promoters to Sean Solo and Billy Wood who run Vintage Wrestling and stated that their show as inferior. This prompted a security guard to grab the mic and it was non other than Sean Solo. It was announced that Noiee Lee would not be wrestling Chasyn Rance representing SCW/ His new opponent would be TNA Superstar Jesse Neal. Carson was not very pleased to hear this change in the program.

-Justin Cade and "The Dancing Machine" Bobby Fonta v. Simon Sez and Eric Cooper

A very entertaining tag team match was next on the agenda. Justin Cade and Bobby Fonta would wrestle Simon Sez and Eric Cooper. Team work and experience would overcome the youthful exuberance of Cade and Fonta. Sez used a clothesline from Hell and attained victory. Simon Sez than commented that Vintage was going to have tag team championship belts and they felt that their team should be in the running.

-Lord Neil Faith v. Maxwell Chicago

Neil Faith squashed a kid named Maxwell Chicago with an impressive piledriver. Chicago never mounted an attack and this match was very one sided. This young man could get hurt with many more matches like this.

-"Uptown" Frankie Capone v. "The Chocolate" Rocket" Thomas Marr for the SCW Heavyweight Title

One of the feature matches involving Frankie Capone w/ Pete Cannon his arch enemy The Chocolate Rocket Thomas Marr with his bodyguard Token Jacobs was next. Marr and Capone would trade chops to one another until Marr was able to get the upper hand. Marr worked Capones leg over ala The Andersons. Thomas Marr is the master of psychology and you were left with the feeling that he was getting under Capone’s skin. From out of the crowd came Mister Saint Laurant and distracted Capone from the outside of the ring. Marr saw his advantage and grabbed a chair from the first row and clobbered Capone over the head. Marr proceeded to pin the prone Capone for the win. All Hell broke loose as the back room emptied and tried to separate the melee that transpired from these actions.
MSL made some derogatory comments about Vintage Wrestling and Capone, slammed his glasses down on the ground and left the building.

-Prodigy v. Prodigy

The Prodigy Mike Cruz was scheduled to wrestle The Prodigy Jason Sensation for the right of the Prodigy moniker. Cruz mounted the first wave of the attack on Sensation who seemed lost by the blinding speed of Cruz. Sensation was able to ground Cruz a bit and used some very good maneuvers such as a power suplex. Cruz mounted the attack once more and turned the tables on Jason Sensation and used a series of kicks and a “Flying Burritto” type of maneuver to pin Sensation. Sensation got up and thought he had won the match but realized that he had failed. Jason Sensation was upset and climbed out of the ring with the fans “catcalling” him all of the way.

"The Marquee" Bruce Santee v. QT Marshall

Bruce Santee puts up his title shot at WrestleBrawl on January 16th to face a very stiff challenge in Q.T. Marshall. This match was probably the best match of the evening as both individuals performed some great chain wrestling. Santee executed a tremendous standing suplex that had Marshall up in the air for twenty seconds. Donahue interfered in the match on several occassions and by choking a prone Santee on the ropes as Marshall distracted the referee. This match had quite a few near falls with both men kicking out before the count of three. Santee delivered a cork screw slam to get the win over Marshall and retain the right to wrestle for the Vintage Heavyweight Championship at WrestleBrawl and be escorted by no other than WWE’s Sunny.

-Jesse Neil v. "Not Cocky" Chasyn Rance

Chasyn Rance w/ Chris Carson was due to fight against Jesse Neal w/ Sean Solo. This match was very competitive and very even for much of the fight. The main point of this match was the awesome spear that Neal used to defeat Rance. Rance was holding his ribs as he walked away from the “squared circle”.

-Titan v. "The Stimulus" Sam Shaw for the Vintage Heavyweight Title

Shaw was able to take the big man off his feet and work on his left leg for quite some time. Shaw than applied a sleeper hold and Titan rises to his feet and snapmares him off from the sleeperhold. Shaw went back to work on the left leg and ankle of Titan. Once more. Titan was able to power his way out of this and power bomb him in the middle of the ring. The referee started to count to ten when Robin Donahue once more climbs up on the ring edge. Titan grabs Donahue and chokeslams him almost through the mat. Shaw regains his senses and superkicks Titan out of the ring. Q.T.Marshall saw his chance and hits Titan with Shaws championship belt. Titan could not reenter the ring within the ten count and Shaw was declared the winner due to count out.

Bruce Santee ran out into the ring and used his slam on the Champion. He places the belt firmly on Shaw waist. Thus Santee made a very strong statement to the Vintage Champion Sam Shaw.

Some reasons that this looks like another great show...

Some reason that this looks like another great show:

  1. Titan hands Shaw and Skeletor their lunch.
  2. Epic v. Chavis in the rematch for the Internet TV Belt won't disappoint.
  3. Always enjoy QT and this will essentially be his third match against Santee (twice at the Rumble) so this should be considered a grudge match!
  4. I'd like to see Mike 'The Prodigy' Cruz abuse that snot-nosed Jason Sensation and make Chris Carson eat some crow.
  5. Another good match will be Nooie Lee flying around the ring showing Rance some lovin' ;)
  6. And then there's Lord Neil Faith, Leon Scott, Eric Cooper and the antics of Simon "Lollipop uild" Sez to look forward to.

All around, this is going to a good evening!
